Our Philosophy

We believe very strongly in providing a "home away from home" atmosphere, where children learn through play. Each and every child is a unique person and they are encouraged through recognition of their uniqueness to become the loving, caring child they are. Within this context, they also learn the academic skills necessary to enter the public school system, as well as being equipped to handle social and life situations to the best of their ability. Children are encouraged to develop independence and a sense of responsibility for their own actions, and each child's rights and feelings will be respected, fostering a sense of personal worth.

To help meet those objectives, it is our intention to stay small and intimate so the needs of each child will be met. To this end, our enrollment is limited to 24 children with a one to six staff ratio during the busiest part of the day.
